Mongolian rock pioneers The Hu have released two brand new tracks, ‘The Men’ and ‘Warrior Chant’, with a music video accompanying ‘The Men’.
‘The Men’ is built around the Mongolian philosophy of “Man’s Inner Spirit” or “Khiimori,” blending traditional Mongolian strings with heavy, groove laden riffs and hypnotic tribal chanting. Meanwhile, ‘Warrior Chant’ delivers a hard charging chorus and metallic soundscape, featuring the band’s signature horse head fiddle solos.
Galaa of The Hu explained the meaning behind ‘The Men’: the track is a chant guiding men of all ages to be headstrong and to cultivate goodness, encapsulating ancient Mongolian wisdom about positive inner strength and generosity.
The new tracks follow the band’s recent appearance on the Netflix series One Piece soundtrack and preview a massive 2026 touring schedule. The Hu will join Iron Maiden at Knebworth Park on 11th July before embarking on a 23 date headline UK and European tour this September and October, including London’s O2 Academy Brixton. More news on their third album is expected soon.
