“Who’s Who In The Zoo?” ask The Vendettas

Described as their “most powerful and dynamic work to date”, Melbourne rock outfit The Vendettas will unleash their brand-new album Who’s Who In The Zoo on 18th August through Golden Robot Records.

Recorded over two years at Cavern Sound Studios and ColourSound Studios, Who’s Who In The Zoo opens fire with ‘Jealous And Evil’, a quirky track that not only sets the groove for what’s to come, but also displays that the band has taken things to the next level in the studio for their fourth album. Another highlight is ‘Lovesick Man’ a snarling, rebellious anthem that demands to be played loud and proud — A true middle finger to societal norms.

In contrast, the sweeping ballads ‘Out In The Rain’ and ‘Fly On The Wall’ showcase the band’s emotional depth and storytelling prowess. From the relentless riffage of ‘Head On Collision’ to the anthemic rally cry of ‘Raise The Weary’, Who’s Who In The Zoo is a record proves The Vendettas’ powerful versatility.

“This album is the truest expression what we feel we sound like, in a packed dive bar, with the speakers rattling” said the band. “We wanted to push the boundaries both musically and sonically, and create something we’ve never done or heard before, rather than trying to sound like something, or mimic someone else — and we think we’ve done that.”

Who’s Who In The Zoo can be ordered here.
