Due to the level of popular demand, to help celebrate the release of Thin Lizzy’s iconic album, Alive & Dangerous, surely one of THE great rock ‘live’ albums in 1978, original member and drummer Brian Downey will be playing several dates across the country in September 2018 with his band Alive & Dangerous, and they’ll be performing the whole album in its entirety. The band will be playing dates in South Shields, Stoke, The Camden Underworld, London, Wolverhampton and, finally Glasgow. Tickets are now available directly from all venues.
Brian says: “We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Live & Dangerous by performing the whole album when we tour the UK in September and October, 2018. Thin Lizzy fans have been asking us when we will be embarking on a UK tour. The time has finally arrived.”
As well as Downey, Live & Dangerous consists of Phil Edgar (lead guitar), Matt Wilson (vocals and bass) and Brian Grace. At the moment it’s not known whether any other ex-member of Thin Lizzy will be taking part in the tour.
