Do Wirów, Do Krzyków! is the new album from the Swedish-based black metal entity Wékeras, set for release on 29th June 2025 via Pagan Records. The album is said to deliver “necromantic old-school black metal that is fast, aggressive, cold, eerie and atmospheric”.
Formed in 2022 by Horreur (Guitars and composition), Vulgael (Bass) and JRMR (Vocals and lyrics) with Pitoperversor (Drums) joining shortly after, Wékeras quickly established their presence. Following their independently released debut demo Pochwała Cienia in early 2023 (later rereleased by Nigredo Records and Eastern Myth Records), the band has actively toured in Sweden, Germany, and France, including festival appearances and a mini-tour.
Wékeras draws inspiration from the Norwegian black metal scene, particularly early Burzum and Emperor, blended with influences from first-wave black metal and thrash acts like Bathory and Venom. Their lyrics delve into primitive magic, Slavic folklore, horror, and demonology.
The album was recorded in 2024 in Årstaberg, Sweden, and mixed and mastered by Jimmy Lundberg. All artwork, logos, and layouts were created by JRMR. Tracks featured are: ‘Bezdech’, ‘Urok’, ‘Niedola’, ‘Ohyda’, ‘Brzask’, ‘Zatracenie’ and ‘Mogiła’.

As a first taste of the forthcoming album, Wékeras has unleashed the track ‘Urok’ that you can check out the video to here at RAMzine.
