Acidosis are another new band to me. I was very intrigued by their name. After listening to them for the first time, they are a band I am going to continue listening to for sure!
Acidosis are: Ben Katzman on vocals and bass, Deo Budnevich and Diego Edsel both on lead guitars, Jonathan Rusten on rhythm guitar, and Harry Schwarz on drums.
Forming back in 2008, Acidosis are a thrash metal band based in Miami Beach, Florida. Their latest album Arrival releases on 27th March 2026 with nine tracks.
The band released their first single ‘They Live!’ on 28th October 2025, title track ‘Arrival’ on 30th January 2026, and latest single ‘Tied To The Tracks’ on 9th March 2026.
WOW. This album is insane! You get hit with that heavy thrash metal with some hardcore punk rock thrown in. Lots of raw energy, shredding guitar riffs, and it certainly packs a punch! It has to be another favourite album of the year for me so far.
A few tracks are on my list of favourites and I will of course be discussing them.
First of all, the title track ‘Arrival’ opens the album perfectly. It hits you straight away with that heaviness and thrash energy. It’s hardcore and intense, with raw and guttural vocals. The shredding guitar riffs are insane and very impressive!
‘They Live!’ has a lot of hardcore punk throughout. Its chanting lyrics and catchiness get you in the mood to start a mosh pit and headbang so much! It is definitely my favourite track on the album.
‘Tied To The Tracks’ has a lot of raw emotion and just instantly punches you. So much thrash energy and speed throughout, it has precision and drive.
And lastly, ‘Mankind’ is another track with impressive shredding guitar riffs, with the drum beats being more pronounced and loud throughout. I love hearing the drums a lot, it’s my favourite instrument and it helps bring a track to life in my opinion!
This whole album is getting played on repeat, it’s another favourite for me! If you like thrash metal and hardcore punk, then you will certainly love this album, so go check it out when it releases.
Acidosis will be going on tour this spring in the US to support their upcoming album.
