David Bowie dies of cancer, aged 69

The world of rock ‘n roll are in mourning yet again as it has been announced that pop and rock pioneer David Bowie has passed away after a battle with cancer for 18 months.

Bowie, born David Robert Jones, had just turned 69 and released his final album ‘Blackstar’ three days before his death. He “died peacefully surrounded by his family” according to a startement released on his social media accounts.

As expected, the world of rock and metal have came out in their droves to pay tribute:
