Holding Absence hails from Cardiff, Wales, and was established in 2015. The Welsh rock ensemble comprises lead vocalist Lucas Woodland, guitarist Scott Carey, bassist Benjamin Elliott, and drummer Ashley Green.
“We love that we put as much passion and energy into every single aspect of our band as we can, especially a live show. We always go into every show assuming that no one knows who we are and we want to make sure that everyone by the end of the show knows who we are!” shares Holding Absence during our conversation at Download Festival.
