Karnivool, an Australian progressive metal ensemble hailing from Perth, Western Australia, was established in 1998. The current lineup features Ian Kenny as the lead vocalist, Drew Goddard and Mark Hosking on guitars, Jon Stockman handling bass duties, and Steve Judd on drums. The band originated from a high school project initiated by Kenny and Goddard. We had the opportunity to chat with Kenny and Hoss at the Download Festival about the therapeutic nature of composing music, their newest single ‘All It Takes,’ and what lies ahead for them.
