Ramon Gutierrez, under the guise of Andromida, has a new EP out, Lost Voices, available from FiXT.
The four track EP features an explosive array of talent including vocal contributions from Fight the Fade, Daedric, Dropout Kings, and Beyond Unbroken. Andromida’s production skills blending the aggressive intensity of metalcore, nu metal, hip hop, and djent with the anthemic power of hard rock while habitually ignoring genre boundaries. The EP despite being only four tracks includes a wide range of genres from the turbulent ‘Real’ featuring rapped vocals from Dropout Kings to the djent-infused Attack On Titan inspired soundscape of ‘Abandon’ that includes ethereal vocal stylings from Daedric.
Each track is intended to showcase provocative and thoughtful lyrics, heavy thrashing guitars, ethereal synthesizers, and fast paced rhythms with it all dripping with defiance in a brutal fusion that maintains a metal edge throughout each offering.
