A trailblazer for women in rock, Jaime Kyle has had an immeasurable amount of success over her years in the industry, and she has now released her video for hit single ‘Change‘.
“I woke up one morning with this lyric and melody running thru my head. I wasn’t in a relationship and I thought what is this about. Is it spiritual or about a relationship I wish I had. At that point I hadn’t written many happy songs. It seems that my muse was more in my deep thoughts about love met with pain. So, this was a surprising gift,” Kyle said.
“Change makes me smile and energizes me. It is uplifting and happy. The guitars are trippy and melodies abound. Adam Shoenfeld has played guitar on 41 number one songs. He let go on this one. With groove wah-wah. It speaks to the soul.
“The background vocals are ear candy they take you away. Larry Antonino and Dave Jenkins of Pablo Cruise are singing background. Dave Jenkins played the bass and it is hypnotic! Steve Brewster on drums caught the groove and moodiness. It rocks you and sways with a groove that is soothing. It takes you away. You feel the joy of happiness when you listen to the song. A mood changer for sure. If you want to pull yourself out of a funk, listen to change.”
The first female rock artist to be signed to a major record deal out of Nashville. Jaime Kyle’s songs have been recorded by Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Faith Hill, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Joe Lynn Turner and others. Her music featured in films.
