It’s been an interesting year. Especially with Avatar. Storming the UK and World touring, big festivals, new fresh songs with a fantastic album. Now they are back in the UK this November to carry on ‘Hailing The Apocalypse‘. Dominating the sound waves, with ‘Hail The Apocalypse‘ reaching the top 100 in the US Billboard entry, and playing at such festivals as Download these guys are unstoppable.
After a massive success with the previous ‘Black Waltz’ album, with the brilliant tracks, ‘Smells Like A Freak Show‘ and ‘Let it Burn’. Reaching the top 26 on US commercial charts things will be looking good for the future of Avatar.
To add these chaps were handpicked to support Avenged Sevenfold in the late 2013 Europe tour, which was sold out! Avatar were stunned, they got an overwhelming reception with the crowd, its like they have never seen such madness in music, minds were blown! (In a good way) So addictive, unique, they defiantly stand out from the crowd.
‘Hail The Apocalypse’ was recorded in Karma Sound Studios, Bang Saray, Thailand, mixed by Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax, Steel Panther) and mastered by Paul Logus (Volbeat, Clutch, Killswitch Engage). Avatar has been described as a perfect mix between Rammstein, Alice Cooper and System of a Down – something the band now have developed further with the video for the title track ‘Hail The Apocalypse‘.
So if you haven’t heard of Avatar but like the following artists above, then you’ll defiantly love these!
If all that wasn’t enough. The talent with these guys is unreal. The music videos’ are in fact self-produced! That is just banana’s. So in a nutshell. Avatar is defiantly a fresh new approach to how metal maybe come in the near future! Unique, standing out from the crowd with they’re own personal style, which hasn’t been seen before and will defiantly put a mark in the metal music industry for years to come!
