Benthos Plunge into Second Album

Experimental progressive metal band Benthos’ upcoming sophomore album, From Nothing, will be available from the 11th April through InsideOutMusic. While their new single, ‘Let Me Plunge’ is out now.

“This track might surprise you,” said the band. “A taste of the album’s diversity, where we go beyond the heavy intensity you’ve come to expect from us. With ‘Let Me Plunge’, we want to show you yet another side of our musical landscape; an emotional texture that permeates From Nothing throughout, with vintage tones and bittersweet melodies. The song expresses the inner turmoil that burns inside us when chasing our deepest ambitions, the will to listen to our voice and surrender ourselves to them.”

“We’ve poured our hearts and souls into From Nothing, and we’re beyond thrilled for you to hear it and connect with it in your own way,” said the band. “Creating this album encouraged us to experiment with new sounds and take risks that pushed our creativity to personal new heights. It’s been a wild ride, and now we’re finally ready to share it with you.”

‘Let Me Plunge’ follows on from prior released singles ‘Pure’, ‘Fossil and ‘As A Cordyceps’ – That third single shows spaces where boundaries between humanity and nature blur in a symphony of wrath. Musically exploding with intensity and chaos while captivating all the same, ‘As A Cordyceps’ reinforces what listeners can expect to hear on the new album.
