Ahead of their UK run, Black Stone Cherry have teamed up with touring partners John Cooper of Skillet and Ayron Jones for a heavy southern rock cover of British gothic hard rock outfit The Cult’s ‘American Horse’ from the classic album, Sonic Temple.
Ayron Jones said this of the new single “As an artist I believe it’s my duty to pay tribute to other great artist in my work. That’s why when BSC reached out to me to be on this track by The Cult I jumped at the opportunity. It was insanely fun to work on this tune and help put a spin on this classic. Did you need anything else for the moment?”
Black Stone Cherry are set to begin their arena tour later this month with Skillet and Ayron Jones as support. You can check out the dates below:
Sun 17 Nov – CARDIFF Utilita Arena
Mon 18 Nov – BIRMINGHAM Resorts World Arena

Black Stone Cherry had this to say about their upcoming UK tour: “We are extremely excited to be coming back to the UK and bringing Ayron Jones and Skillet with us. Talk about a badass package of riff rock! We are pumped to have a single out featuring all three bands, something we have never done before, and we hope it gets people as excited as we are!”

These will be the first UK arena dates since their intimate club shows last year and they’re sure to deliver a killer show once again. The tour will support their latest album, Screamin’ at the Sky, an album made up of tracks written back on tour.
