There’s a special bond between people and their four-legged friends, and we would do anything to protect them. Indian street-metal stars have immortalised this bond in their new track ‘Yaad’.
Check out the video below:
‘Yaad’ is Hindi for ‘remember’ or ‘in memory’ and is written about the loss of a loved one, inspired by the death of guitarist Karan Katyar’s dog. He comments:
“I lost my dog 10 years ago and I still feel the loss to this day. I wanted the video to show the bond between a man and his dog to highlight its message.“
In the spirit of the track, Bloodywood has funded a new animal ambulance for The Posh Foundation – a non-profit animal shelter organisation. Below are some photos of the old van compared to the new one:
Bloodywood sadly had to cancel their appearance at Sonic Temple Festival due to the coronavirus outbreak. Below are their scheduled European festival dates, including Bloodstock Festival:
07/08 @ Bloodstock Festival – Derby, UK
08/09 @ Alcatraz Festival (Swamp Stage) – Kortrijk, BE
08/14 @ Reload Festival – Sulingen, DE
08/15 @ Summer Breeze Open Air – Dinkelsbühl, DE
