Into The Dark with Cantervice

Continuing the story from ‘The Masquerade’Cantervice unveil the next chapter of their dystopian vision with the fierce single ‘Into The Dark’.

“‘Into The Dark’ is a song set in the dystopian world of Cantervice, portraying a character who descends into the depths of madness and isolation in a society on the brink of collapse due to indoctrination from an authoritative government,” explained the act

“Unlike their peers who have integrated with this new reality, the individual in question maintains a clear perception of the decline and the deceit at hand, seeking to remain immune to it.

“Despite the widespread state of despair, the character clings heavily to the world from before, believing there is hope for its return. As they too are slowly being reconditioned and losing touch with reality, this increasing disconnect from the world with which they desire to exist propels them into a mental breaking point.”

A sonic fusion, embracing synthesizers in combination with thrashing guitars, pushing an atmosphere of hope over fear, ‘Into The Dark’ is out now from independent multi-genre label FiXT, and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
