Cinema Stereo Say “Sorry , My Dear”

Alternative rock band Cinema Stereo are planning their first ever European tour, set to begin this coming October. As yet, no UK dates have been announced, and those on British shores will have to make do with the release of their new single, ‘So Sorry, My Dear’, and its accompanying video.

Cinema Stereo‘s ‘So Sorry, My Dear’ is coated deep in US power pop. It’s like Todd Rundgren had done an all-nighter producing The Knack fronted by a younger brother of Cheap Trick‘s Robin Zander. Sugary as hell, it’s infectious yet far from being a guilty secret because it still rocks.

The single is now available for streaming, and there is also a limited edition 7-inch vinyl edition that features ‘Keep Me Down’ as its exclusive B-side. The vinyl-only flipside is unavailable on streaming platforms, making it a genuine collector’s piece.

Originally from Orlando, Florida, and now based in Nashville, Cinema Stereo draw inspiration from a wide range of influences including Queen, The Police, Tame Impala, Aerosmith, and The Killers, with the band carving out their own unique space in modern rock.

New single ‘So Sorry, My Dear’ reflects the band’s ability to balance nostalgia and forward momentum, while its vinyl-only flipside ‘Keep Me Down’ nods to the band’s appreciation for music’s past without living there.

More information about the band’s music, forthcoming tour and ticket availability can be found on Cinema Stereo‘s website.
