Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Cradle Of Filth‘s Dusk… And Her Embrace this coming Halloween when Music For Nations reissue the album on 30th October.
Back in 1996 it was the band’s first major release, having signed to Music For Nations, and it spurred a paradigmatic revolution in the black, gothic and symphonic metal scenes as the band shed the fledgling rawness of their early material and became increasingly at home in their newfound proprietorship of the macabre.
‘A Gothic Romance’ and ‘Dusk And Her Embrace’ remain cornerstones of the band’s live setlist to this day and remain firm fan favourites. With lyrics channelling classic Hammer horror films and Suffolk witch-lore, Dani Filth delivered one of the most extreme vocal performances of his career.
These 30th anniversary editions of Dusk… And Her Embrace will be available across a range of bespoke, deluxe and limited formats.
