You can now buy Cradle Of Filth action figures and comic books

Back in the day, it was the humble tour t-shirt, which then branched out to posters, songbooks, and more recently – brands of beer. Now you are no one in the world of metal or rock if you haven’t got your own action figure or comic book.

Cradle Of Filth are the latest to join the elite club as they introduce their own comic book debut in ‘Maledictus Athaneum’ . Incendium and Heavy Metal Entertainment announced the comic book anthology series, under all-new music-focused OPUS imprint. Check out some of the epic artwork below:

Maledictus Athenaeum will start as a 5 issue series. The first print edition of each issue will be released as a prestige format limited edition collectible comic book, featuring cardstock covers, specialty foil treatments, glossy pages, and individual numbering. Each first print edition will be limited to 2500 copies at $16.66 (Just over £12), and available to order here. The first issue is available to order now and ships May this year.

This is also accompanied by a series of action figures. Wave 1 includes Dani Filth and the succubus from 2001 album Bitter Suites To Succubi these are available to pre-order for $29.95 (Just under £22) here, which will be shipped June 2021. Check out the figures below:

COF frontman, Dani Filth, had this to say about the new range of collectibles:

“As an avid collector of Horror figures for decades now – citing the enclosing walls and shelves of my home crammed with toys and memorabilia as an example – I was only too eager to embrace this emphatic union with a company that is as excited about bringing our brand of lascivious Gothic darkness to glorious undeath as we are.”

This follows the news COF is recording a new studio album, titled Existence Is Futile, to be released later this year.
