Swedish rockers Degreed have released a rendition of Thin Lizzy’s classic ‘Still In Love With You’, via Frontiers Music Srl.
“We’ve been playing this song live a few times at an event called King’s Call in Stockholm,” remarked band singer and bassist Robin Eriksson, further explaining, “It’s a tribute concert to Phil Lynott, held every year.
“We’ve had great response every time we’ve played it. This year it’s 40 years ago since Phil Lynott passed and we felt that it’s the right time to record the song. This is our tribute to the man, the myth, the legend himself.”
Debuting with the Life, Love, Loss album in 2010, Degreed have continued to mix classic melodic and hard rock sounds with more contemporary influences. Their latest album, Curtain Calls, featuring Eriksson alongside Mats Eriksson (drums), Mikael Blanc (keyboards) and Daniel Johansson (guitars), was released in April.
