His recent Bad Bones album outlined some of the personal issues, not least his health, that have come to test his character. Now his latest single, *’Praying For A Miracle’*, can aptly be described as a powerful and deeply personal expression of how they have affected him.
‘Praying For A Miracle’ reveals a more vulnerable, reflective, and emotionally charged Grönwall, while still carrying the signature vocal intensity that has defined his career.
“‘Praying For A Miracle’ is about being pushed to a point where you feel like you have no control left. When everything comes down to one last chance, all you can do is hold on and hope,” the singer commented. “For me, it’s deeply personal. It takes me back to the moment I stepped on stage with Skid Row for the first time, just five months after my bone marrow transplant.”

“I’ve had the honour of fronting some great bands, but now it’s time to tell my own story,” Grönwall said. “‘Bad Bones’ is about owning who you are and not apologising for it. I’ve always walked my own path, no matter what people thought. I’ve never followed the norm, and I’m not about to start now. This is how I’m built.”
‘Born To Break’ was also released as a single from the parent album, with the singer commenting: “‘Born To Break’ is a song I want people to interpret in their own way. I like when lyrics can hold multiple truths. I know what it means to me, but I’d rather leave space for the listener to find their own meaning in it.”
