We are absolutely massive Feed The Rhino fans here at RAMzine. We saw them play a mental set at Hammerfest this year to where singer Lee Tobin said to the crowd “You need to go fu*king ape sh*t” – and they did! We also caught up with the band recently at the 02 Academy Oxford, where Lee said “We have been in the shadows a bit last year so you will hear a lot more from us this year” (See full interview here).
Feed The Rhino have very much come out of the shadows now, as they have just released new video for ‘Deny and Offend’. The track is taken from their up-coming album ‘The Sorrow and The Sound’ which will be released June 16th, via Siege Of Amida / Century Media.
Oz Craggs (Bass Player & Producer) talks about the new album: “We’ve done super heavy stuff to weird ambient stuff but this time, we just wanted to put it all together and not worry about doing anything outside of making something we’re all proud of. No agendas, no worrying about what other people will say. Even in the making of the album, we’ve taken the risk of making a big sounding album for the first time, using techniques that previously we’d avoided through either fear or not knowing whether or not it’s the right thing to do. This time was just about making the best Feed The Rhino album anybody has ever heard.”
