Polish black metal band Furia has announced the highly anticipated vinyl reissues of their seminal early EPs, Płoń and Halny. Both releases feature a grey Galaxy vinyl (180g) pressing, housed in a standard sleeve with printed inserts.
Płoń offers three songs of grim poetry in Furia’s unique style, that just might sends shivers down your spine. The EP is full of passion with an atmosphere of coldness, hatred and nothingness, a dance with the devil.
Halny is an EP containing one, nearly 20-minute song in the band’s unique psychedelic and hypnotic post-black metal style, available exclusively on this release.
Following a year of triumph, including a nomination for the prestigious Polityka’s Passport award for their critically acclaimed album, Huta Luna, multiple successful nationwide tours and festival appearances, Furia continues to push boundaries. The band will perform a unique music and film project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Silesian Film Archive in Katowice. This special event will see Furia perform their music alongside a curated selection of archival footage from the only regional film archive in Poland, exploring the history, culture, and industrial heritage of Silesia. The event will take place on April 5th at Kino Rialto in Katowice.
Furia will also bring their electrifying live performances to a number of prestigious European festivals this summer, including Brutal Assault, Gothoom and Beyond the Gates.
The records were originally released in 2008 and 2010, respectively, via Pagan Records, and are now available for order here.
