Multi-Instrumentalist and singer/songwriter and JShell has been putting in some serious overtime, by releasing videos for all 15 tracks from his new rock album – In My Head – ahead of it becoming available for purchase, downloading and streaming on 14th February via Tater Mansion Tunes.
What’s more, this “audio and visual” album also features special guest appearances from some of the best musicians in the business.
These include pioneering progressive rock artist and former lead guitarist with Genesis, Steve Hackett; Katie Jacoby, violinist and co-leader of The Who’s orchestra; jam band guitarists Jake Cinninger, of Umphrey’s McGee and Scott Metzger, of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Wolf.
“I am excited to share my music with fans of rock music and am humbled by the genius that Steve, Katie, Jake, Scott and the other contributing musicians, vocalists, and engineers brought to the project. Turn It Up!” said JShell.
Counting artists such as Genesis, The Beatles, The Who, Rush, Queen, Journey, Billy Joel, Iron Maiden, Styx and Phish as being key influences, JShell produced, wrote and arranged all 15 tracks, as well as playing all instruments save guest performances.
In My Head also features mastering by Grammy Award-winning Randy Merrill of Sterling Sound (Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Muse etc).
Fourteen of the videos are animation, one live action, and none lyric videos and available via Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
