Ice Nine Kills Bring Sip To Be Scared to London

Ice Nine Kills have been one of the most theatrical and uniquely fun heavy bands of recent years. From their horror-obsessed concept albums to their wildly elaborate live performances, they’ve built something genuinely special in the metal world. So naturally, when they launch an official coffee brand, it has to be appropriately dramatic.

Enter Sip To Be Scared, the band’s official coffee that’s making its UK debut at Silver Scream Con London this weekend. If you’re heading to the Cumberland Hotel on Saturday 13th or Sunday 14th December, you’ll want to track this down early. The signature roast sold out halfway through the US convention a few months back, and inventory crossing the Atlantic is limited.

The timing couldn’t be better. INK headline OVO Wembley Arena this Friday, and the convention kicks off the following morning. It’s a full weekend of horror for the faithful. Concept Cafes, partnering with Raven Records, will be slinging the beans on site. There’s even talk of a permanent UK residency for the brand if demand holds up.

For the uninitiated, Silver Scream Con is Spencer Charnas’s creation, launched in Massachusetts back in 2022. It’s not your standard convention. Curated by Charnas himself (who grew up attending horror conventions as a fan), the event brings together movie lovers, casual attendees, and the dedicated Psychos for meet-and-greets, photo ops, cosplay, and immersive experiences with stars from franchises like Scream, Halloween, Terrifier, Friday the 13th, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

This London edition marks the convention’s first venture onto UK soil, landing in what the organisers call “the hallowed land of Hitchcock, Hammer, and Hellraiser.”

And who doesn’t love coffee? Coffee is available at https://ravenrecordshop.com.
