The track arrives alongside an official video and signals the beginning of a new era for the GRAMMY-nominated quintet, serving as the second taste of their upcoming, as-yet-untitled ninth studio album and debut for Better Noise Music, following previously released single ‘Heretic’ (feat. Kim Dracula).
Vocalist Maria Brink says of the single: “With ‘Sleeping with the Enemy’ and our upcoming album, we’re confronting the darkness, whether it’s inside us or external. It’s about looking that darkness in the face and transforming it into empowerment. We feel so exhilarated and ready to show the world what we’ve conjured up.”
