Johnny Thunders Posthumous Live Release

Johnny Thunders’ Cosa Nostra: Live At The Mudd Club Gothenburg 1983 is out now on Golden Robot Records. 

 A punk rock pioneer, Thunders continues to leave an indelible mark on the music world years after his passing.  As a founding member of the legendary New York Dolls, he blazed a trail through the music scene with his raw energy and unmistakable style.

Following his tenure with the Dolls, Thunders embarked on a solo journey, forming Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers, solidifying his status as one of the true godfathers of the US punk scene.

The upcoming album captures a historic moment in Thunders’ career. Recorded live at The Mudd Club in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 16th June , 1983, the album offers listeners an immersive experience, transporting them back to a time when punk rock reverberated through the veins of society.

Drawing a capacity crowd, fans  were treated to an unforgettable set that included iconic tracks such as ‘Personality Crisis’, ‘Born To Lose’, and ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking.’
