Judas Priest have announced the release of The Best Of Judas Priest, a career-spanning collection celebrating one of the most influential and enduring bands in heavy metal, out via Sony Music on June 19.
With over 50 million albums sold worldwide and more than 2.5 billion global streams across their catalogue, the impact of Judas Priest on music and culture remains unmatched. This collection brings together some of the band’s most iconic recordings, including ‘Breaking The Law’, ‘You’ve Got Another Thing Coming’, ‘Electric Eye’, ‘Turbo Lover’ and ‘Painkiller’, tracing the evolution of a band that helped shape the genre itself.
The 16-track CD edition also features ‘Lightning Strike’, ‘Crown Of Horns’, ‘Beyond The Realms Of Death’, ‘Hell Bent For Leather’, ‘Living After Midnight’, ‘Night Crawler’, ‘Heading Out To The Highway’, ‘Better By You, Better Than Me’, ‘The Sentinel’ and ‘Diamonds And Rust’. A 10-track vinyl edition is also available.
Judas Priest continue to showcase their live power across Europe this summer, with a festival stop at Bloodstock on August 9 and a headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on September 21. An in-depth documentary The Ballad Of Judas Priest, directed by Tom Morello and Sam Dunn, was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival recently and will be released later this year.
