Synthwave electronic rock artist Battlejuice and retro rockers LeBrock join forces, forging electronic rock and synthwave with industrial metal with their new single ‘Dust‘.
Full of drive!” said Battlejuice. “‘Dust’ combines the power of guitar riffs, melodic vocal lines, and lyrics that reflect the unsettling state of the world today.”
It is said to be “Full of drive and eighties-inspired leads, featuring a powerhouse vocal performance from LeBrock, laced with ominous pulsing synthesizers, and heavy thrashing guitars, for an overall dynamic atmosphere,” and you can check that out via the video here at RAMzine.
‘Dust‘ is intended as an anthem for those questioning our very purpose in tumultuous times with tensions around the world rising. A message that reverberates across time, space, and generations. What have we become?
It is available from FiXT here.
LeBrock‘s last single was ‘See Me‘, the second track taken from LeBrock‘s next album.
‘See Me’ is intended as an atmospheric ballad with an impassioned vocal performance from LeBrock coupled with defiant lyrics, and nostalgic guitar chords fused with bass and shimmering synth melodies that wind through an energetic anthem giving it their signature classic rock flourish.
The single is out now from independent multi-genre music label FiXT here and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
Previously, the 80s infused rocker ‘Running Wild‘, was released as a single through FiXT, and described as “a retro-rock ballad for joystick controllers!”
It was the debut single from LeBrock’s next album and blend of melodic rock and pop, as well as pulling influences from the best of past and present, over provocative lyrics.
“The world has changed, a darkness has risen keeping us under control and taking away some of the freedom we once had,” stated LeBrock. “Deep down we all want to just run wild and be whatever we want to be, do whatever we want to do. Fight the power and start running wild.”
The retro rockers’ first EP, Action And Romance, was a synth-heavy fan favourite that has earned millions of Spotify streams to date. The group followed it up with a more rock-oriented, vocal-driven EP, Real Thing, packed with fist-pumping retro anthems including the hit song, ‘Runaway’.
The early success of the first two recordings caught the attention of retro synth label FiXT Neon, who signed the group to a multi-album deal and re-packaged and re-released the first two albums in the process.
LeBrock‘s new material kicked off with a string of singles across 2019 and 2020, culminating in the release of their first full-length album Fuse in June of 2021.
