Pre-Yes psychedelic-prog outfit Mabel Greer’s Toyshop have released new footage for ‘Electric Funeral’, the opening track of their upcoming reunion album New Way Of Life out on 9th March.
The video shows founding members Clive Bayley and Robert Hagger meeting after 45 years and jamming in a bar in Nice, France, leading to a reunion of the band as signified by the large amount of empty pints covering the bar to acknowledge a good time was had by all! Mabel Greer’s Toyshop is rounded out by the return of original keyboard player Tony Kaye, fellow ex-Yes member Billy Sherwood and Hugo Barré. The band will also be releasing a selection of album teasers on YouTube each Monday and Friday, in the lead up to the release the new album. You can view the first one by clicking here.
New Way Of Life will be available on CD and digital download while ‘Electric Funera’l will be available to download and on iTunes as an instant gratification track on album pre-orders from the beginning of February.
