The Mangata Festival, an alternative music event in Nottingham, is back for its second edition on July 15th. The festival will take place at Rescue Rooms on Goldsmiths Street and feature 15 artists across two stages. Headlining acts Heart of a Coward and Mastiff will be joined by special guests Raging Speedhorn, as well as supporting acts Red Method, Tuskar, Harbinger, Godeater and Sugar Horse. Local bands such as a-tota-so, Azazel, Draconian Reign and Outergods are also set to perform at the festival.

The Tap & Tumbler, a beloved establishment that has long been a pillar of the alternative music community in Nottingham, will be opening its doors to host an exciting lineup of bands including Hundred Year Old Man, Master Charger and Reckoner. Entry to the pub is completely free!

Organiser Laura Pearson says, “After a successful first edition, we’re beyond excited to see Mangata Festival return for a second year. This event is the product of our passion for heavy music, and we’ve curated a line up which we believe reflects the immense talent the UK alternative music scene has to offer”.

Mangata Festival takes place on the 15th July 2023.
