Mason Hill Announce March 2026 Tour Dates

With two rapidly sold out shows in London and Glasgow now under their belt, where they introduced both their new singer Tom Ward and new songs, Mason Hill is now gearing up for more extensive live dates in the UK this coming spring.

“We’re hitting the road and bringing the show to a city near you in March 2026!.” Said guitarist James Bird. “New music, loud nights – come and be a part of it.”

“We are on such a high after returning to the stage over the last couple of weeks,” added bassist Matt Ward. “It took us just over two years from our last show to get back up there, and you better believe we won’t be waiting around too long to get back up there again! We will be firing on all cylinders in March around the UK bringing everyone their favourite Mason Hill songs, and playing a whole bunch of new songs (one of which you might just get a sneak peek at soon!). Tickets are already running low, so grab one while you still can and we’ll see you out there!”

Mason Hill released their single ‘Remember‘ on 7hz Productions a couple of months back. It is the first piece of recorded music to feature new frontman Tom Ward and thus the first opportunity for fans to hear the path the band are now taking, one that sees a darker turn both lyrically and sonically, loaded with emotion and powered forward by an intense, brooding and contemporary edge. 

‘Remember‘ saw Mason Hill return in style, adding more dynamics and depth than ever before, assisted in no small measure by the production of Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow, Those Damn Crows).

Bird commented: “The new tune ‘Remember’ is dark, it’s heavy and it embodies the direction we’re headed. We can’t wait to blow the roof off our sold-out London and Glasgow shows with this new track. They are both going to be nights to remember!”

While Ward added: “We have loved exploring the heavier side of Mason Hill with Dan Weller on production duties. These recordings are sounding absolutely massive and are so much fun to play. We can’t wait to get back on stage with these, and I’m absolutely buzzing to reveal all the things we have planned.”

‘Remember’ is just the first step on the road to a new album from Mason Hill, half of which has already been recorded, the remainder to be captured during further sessions with Weller in November. Expect an early 2026 release for the as-yet-untitled full length. With two comeback shows in London and Glasgow selling out in 24 hours, it’s clear that the band’s fanbase is still very much with them.

Four years after Against the Wall made such an impact, Mason Hill is re-entering the fray with renewed intent, showcasing a freshly updated sound and presentation. New guy Tom Ward stated; “Joining Mason Hill has been transformational for me – 12 months of hard graft, anticipation and gearing up to tear up the stage. Together we’ve been creating an album which is raw, powerful and pure Mason Hill.”

While the core of this Glasgow based band is the same as the band that made Against The Wall – Bird, Matt Ward, guitarist Marc Montgomery and drummer Craig McFetridge – their new music marks the introduction of new singer in Ward, whose versatile voice brings different dimensions to Mason Hill’s signature sound as he switches from emotive whisper to arena-rattling power in a heartbeat.

“We’re still Mason Hill, but in some ways, it feels like we’re a brand-new band,”said Bird of their new configuration. “With Tom in the line-up, we’ve got a new energy.”

“Coming into this band at this point has been a dream,” added Tom Ward. “We hit it off from the start, and we discovered we’ve brought new things out in each other as writers. The new songs we’ve written so far are just amazing.” 

Mason Hill have been no strangers to adversity over their 10-year existence. They’ve endured false starts, botched record deals and a six-year gap between 2015’s eponymous debut EP and the release of Against The Wall. Even the latter landed during the height of the Covid pandemic, meaning the band weren’t initially able to tour in support of it. The departure of former singer Scott Taylor at the end of 2023 was just the latest obstacle they had to overcome.

“There have been times over the years when we weren’t even sure we’d be able to keep on being a band,” said Bird. “Even just before Tom came in, we were so close to saying, ‘Well, we tried, but let’s call it a day.’ But there’s a stubbornness and determination and passion in us that has kept us going. The new music was obviously still Mason Hill, but we didn’t want it to be a copy of the first album,” says James. “When Tom put his voice to some of the demos we’d sent, that was when we knew this could work.”

“It feels like a turning point,” said Tom Word of this new chapter, of which he’s a key part. “We’re super-hungry for it.”

“All the good stuff and the bad stuff, I’m glad it happened in a sense,” said Bird. “Because without it we wouldn’t be in this place we’re in right now, talking about new songs, which I couldn’t be more excited about. We’re so ready to get back out there. This is who we are now. This is Mason Hill.”
