Denver-based heavy metal band Messiahvore will have a new album out through Iron Head Records on 2nd June, titled Transverse, and ahead of that is a new single ‘Hopes Of The Living Dead’.
Heavy grooves and head-bobbing riffs are promised on Transverse, the band drawing inspiration from 90s icons like Helmet and Prong, while also incorporating elements of stoner metal, death metal, and even doom at times. Expect it to be nboth heavy and diverse.
The journey through Transverse is said to be an intense one, with punishing vocals and stoney harmonies laden with distortion and spacey echoes. The lyrics explore dark themes of introspection, murder, and robots, making for a truly immersive listening experience.
Messiahvore has enhanced their sound with the addition of baritone guitarist Kevin Disney’s vocal , alongside the band’s main vocalist Bart McCrorey. This has allowed the band a fuller and, apparently more dynamic, sound.
Transverse can be pre-ordered here. You can stream/buy ‘Hopes Of The Living Dead’ here and check out the video here at RAMzine.
