Risin Sabotage release new single ‘Revived’ and it comes with a backstory. The track was written back in 2016 but left off the album The Planet Dies, and the band have dusted it off to mark that record’s 10th anniversary.
The band describe it as a metaphorical space journey from Mars to the Moon, inviting listeners to travel along together. It’s a slow instrumental piece with plenty of twists and turns, and there’s something fitting about a song finally getting its moment a decade on. It doubles as a marker for what’s coming too. The band are in the studio working on a new album for next year, with material they describe as heavier and more powerful.
