Luxembourg thrash metal act Scarlet Anger has signed with Metalville Records with plans for a new album to be release in 2026.
Founded in 2007 by singer Joe Block and guitarist Fred Molitor, the band’s initial gigs were quickly followed by the release of La Realidad Es Triste … their debut EP.
With its successor Kill The King, Scarlet Anger gained international recognition. More aggressive and faster than its predecessor, that second EP helped secure them a worldwide record deal for their first longplayer Dark Reign, that was mastered by Jeff Waters and released in May 2012.
Classic comics and horror stories from the eighties and nineties served as the main inspiration for what would later become their second album Freak Show. The album, mastered by Jens Bogren, has a more melodic approach and was released in March 2016. Then, in 2024, third studio album Martyr, enjoyed a positive response worldwide.
The band, featuring Block, Molitor, fellow guitarist Jeff Buchette, bass player Vincent Niclou and drummer Rod Sovilla will be performing at festivals in Europe again this year and are also starting to work on their new album.
Among the festival dates announced, Scarlet Anger will be performing live on 5th September at the Depravation Festival in Wiltshire, Great Britain.
