GRAMMY-nominated metal icons Sevendust have shared a claymation music video for their new single ‘Threshold’, the latest taste of their 15th studio album One, due out on 1 May via Napalm Records.
The track showcases the Atlanta quintet’s signature blend of heavy grooves and melodic intensity. Vocalist Lajon Witherspoon channels raw emotion as he addresses those who push others to their breaking point.
The accompanying video, created by animator Ollie Jones, continues the storyline introduced in the band’s previous video for ‘Fence’, this time following a greedy music agent who exhumes the decayed members of Sevendust and sends them back on tour.
One builds on the momentum of lead single ‘Is This The Real You’, which has already racked up over 1.3 million video views since its January release.
The band are already on the road, with their US headline tour kicking off 16 April in Carterville, IL, running through to 20 May in Knoxville, TN, with Atreyu, Fire From The Gods and American Adrenaline in support. They will also appear at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals.
