American hard rockers Spread Eagle are on tour this September. This time though we’re in for a special treat as this is their first ever nationwide tour in the UK. Singer, Ray West, himself confessed his love for playing here as well as recalling some of his best experiences which have also been in the UK; “I’ve had some of the best shows of my life in UK and can’t wait for my friends there to experience East Coast Streetmetal and the Spread Eagle monster machine!”.
Forming in 1989 when Paul Dibartelo, Rob De Luca and Tommi Gallo moved to NYC before meeting Ray West, Spread Eagle hatched from their eggs. Just a few months old and rehearsing, they were already signing for MCA/Universal Records where they released their self-titled debut album which gained worldwide recognition from magazines like Uber Rock.
They soon followed up that release with Open to the Public before disbanding in 1996. Soon after reforming in 2006, they were flying high again with the re-issue of Spread Eagle. They then released an amazing comeback album in 2019 Subway to the Stars and are more energised than ever to spread their wings and catch more prey. So come along and take to the skies as they step on unexplored territories of our country before it’s too late.
Tickets can be bought through Skiddle and the venue websites. Below is the poster of their tour.
