The first-ever XFest will take place at The Garage, London on July 26th.
This is a festival ran by music fans, for music fans – bringing great bands to the capitol.
The first headline act are Welsh punk-rockers The Dirty Youth, joining them will be Bristol goth-rockers Ashestoangels, 48 Hours, Press To Meco, Dirt, FOES, Amaryllis, City Of Ashes, and circle of reason.
Festival organisers Alex Whiteford and Gary Broughton had this to say:
“We’re very excited to be launching a brand new festival in the centre of London. We’ve always wanted to build a platform for the best UK bands, small and big, to share the same stage.
They continued:
We hope the fans will support us, and help XFest grow year after year along with the bands we showcase. We believe that the lesser known acts on our line up will be the headliners of the future.”
Ashestoangels front man Adam Crilly thinks this is a great festival for London fans:
“Xfest is going to be London Town’s answer to Takedown and we are so excited to be headlining the second stage. In terms of London shows we’ve never done anything like this and we think it’s going to be massive!”
Tickets cost £12 and are available via this link.
More acts will be announced in the near future.
