Raise a Glass to The Exiles

Mr Dirty Martini is the debut EP from Australian rock n’ roll outfit, The Exiles, out now via Bread & Butter Records.

Formed in 2019 in the deep dark depths of a Miami discotheque nightclub basement; singer/songwriter Josh Aubry (formerly of The Cherry Dolls) and bassist/songwriter Tony Clay, met with guitarist Billy Watts, Nick Cornell & drummer Oscar Linkson to, apparently, “pitch a new concept of the greatest rock n’ roll band to walk the earth”.

For the next three years they checked into their three-star Avalon Hotel suites and began writing and recording Mr Dirty Martini, the first phase of The Exiles. In 2022, they made their way back home to Melbourne, where they performed to continuous sold-out crowds. Their live shows have been described as “dynamic”, “high energy”, “powerful” and “not to be missed!”

Two singles, ‘Fade Away‘ and ‘Friday Night’ have been released thus far, and you can check out videos to both, here at RAMzine.

The new Mr Dirty Martini is said to generate “a diverse sound that stems from their punk and garage rock roots, blended perfectly with the modern age.” You can verify that by checking out the videos, then stream/buy the EP here.
