The London-based rock duo, The Survival Code, has gained recognition for their hit song ‘So Serious,’ which has amassed over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone and has helped the band maintain a monthly listenership of 20k for four years.
The band’s ambitious goal is to release twelve singles in twelve months, each accompanied by custom artwork designed to match the lyrics. On December 15th, 2023, the complete collection of tracks for the forthcoming album Whispers Of Woe will be released, along with some additional surprises to close out the year.
The band has released their latest single, ‘Sum Of All Our Parts’, which you can listen to here on RAMzine:
“The idea behind the song is about the Instagram filter we often impose on our lives for others or even ourselves,” says the band. “Showing the best versions of ourselves to others while hiding the reality, or focusing on small aspects of ourselves we like rather than the whole to avoid seeing it too…
For better or worse we are just the sum of all the things we have done. For better or worse, no matter the facade, there is a peace in accepting life warts and all, we are all human… We ourselves are as guilty as anyone and certainly not preaching but it’s something we consider a lot. There is something beautiful about seeing life in full colour, all of it, the sum of all the parts”.
