Northampton punks Threads have announced their new EP for release this November.
This will be the lad’s first release since drummer Phil Warner joined the band and their loss of keys player Dan Page. Bassist Alex Berry commented:
“It’s great to finally be delivering some new aural delights to the unsuspecting public. We’ve been quiet for the last few months, working away, honing our sound. This record is a lot more refined than the last, a lot more guitar driven. We’ve lost the Hammond organ, and whilst the new material may sound upbeat in melodic value, the lyrical subject matter is still just as bleak and dystopic as before.”
The new EP, titled The Emperor’s New Misery, is due for release November 11th. Check out the video for Summer taken from the EP below!
