Toronto Is Broken goes Djent

Taking the fiery spirit of the original, British DJ and producer Toronto Is Broken puts a drum & bass spin on his remix of ‘Human’ from djent/metalcore band Thornhill.

Toronto Is Broken is in reality Leicestershire’s Christian Hoffmann’s whose initial venture into the world of music started out with a guitar whilst at school, and after various attempts to attract bands with his passion, he went on a solo mission to produce electronic music.

Several years of work and perseverance later, following the release of singles, remixes, EP and albums he’s also set up his own label, YANA Music, while being signed FiXT Noir for other releases.

“We don’t often get to hear different renditions of our songs in the form of remixes, so to have Christian put his own spin on a track of ours in a completely different genre is really refreshing to hear for us. It’s really cool to see how someone can look at one of our songs from a different perspective compared to how the song was originally written, so we thoroughly enjoyed hearing the final product,” said Thornhill.

‘Human’ is out now on all platforms from the independent multi-genre label FiXT via this link.
