Wolfgang Van Halen’s project, Mammoth WVH, has unveiled the second track from their upcoming album set to drop on August 4th through BMG. ‘Like A Pastime’ is now available on all digital platforms and those who pre-order the record will receive an immediate download of the song.
Wolfgang tells us that the track “…centres around a 4/4-time signature, but with a polyrhythm on top. I was teaching my fiancé what a polyrhythm is, and I stumbled upon this idea. The kick drums are accentuating it. It’s certainly one of my favourites and a completely different vibe than anything on the first album”.
