Chloe Trujillo, wife of Metallica bassist Rob Trujillo, was at The Karma Sanctum Hotel for three days last week live painting to launch her ‘Art In Motion’ exhibit. Her art will be shown throughout the hotel all summer, alongside a guitar she hand-printed which belonged to Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden. This very special guitar will be auctioned off to raise more funds for Teenage Cancer Trust and has been signed by legendary musicians such as Adrian Smith, Kirk Hammett, Rob Trujillo, Roger Taylor, Roger Daltrey and Scott Gorham.
Chloe is a multi-talented woman whose art is inspired by both her spirituality and rock ‘n roll persona. Her work is particularly colourful and aims to spread positive energies. The following is a quote from Trujillo about her exhibition:
“My wish is that the healing power of Art reaches as many beings as possible. I infused my work with positive magical intention that I hope people can feel and keep with them, making their day brighter, whether it’s beautifying and vibrationally elevating their space with a painting or feeling amazing wearing a scarf, it’s all about positive energy.”
On Wednesday 19th I was lucky enough to be invited at the private launch of ‘Art In Motion’ where a lot of classic rockers were in attendance – Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo from Metallica, Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden, Scott Gorham from Thin Lizzy, KK Downing from Judas Priest and more. All in all it was a brilliant night filled with trendy people and a rather positive atmosphere. An impromptu jam in the basement with Adrian from Iron Maiden, Clive Edwards from UFO, Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell from Bad Company and Dave Boyce from The Quireboys only made the event more memorable and without any doubt the performance seemed to be very much appreciated by all guests. If you fancy spending some time in an exclusive rock ‘n roll setting do not hesitate to go and check Chloe Trujillo’s art at the very renowned Karma Sanctum Hotel in Soho.
