15th Anniversary for Volbeat’s  Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood

The 15th anniversary of Volbeat‘s classic third album, Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood will be celebrated with a limited-edition vinyl pressing that will become available on 30th June.

It will be released through Mascot Records, the same record company who issued the original Guitar Gangster & Cadillac Blood back on 1st September 2008, where it hit the No. 1 spot in the Danish and Finnish album charts and has since gone four-times Platinum in their native country and Gold in Germany, Finland and Sweden. The album features the hit ‘Still Counting’, the most streamed Volbeat track to date, alongside other singles released at the time.

These new limited vinyl variants are said to “celebrate both the legacy of the album and the future that will bring countless more performances of these songs to the stage.”

Guitar Gangster & Cadillac Blood  featured the line-up of Michael Poulsen (vocals, guitar), Anders Kjølholm (bass), Jon Larsen (drums) and Thomas Bredahl (drums) who went on to tour the USA as guests to Nightwish and Metallica on their North American leg of their World Magnetic tour.

Tracks featured on the album are: ‘Intro (End of the Road)’, ‘Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood’, ‘Back To Prom’, ‘Mary Ann’s Place’, ‘Hallelujah Goat’,  ‘Maybellene I Hofteholder’, ‘We’, ‘Still Counting’, ‘Light A Way’, ‘Wild Rover Of Hell’, ‘I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, ‘A Broken Man And The Dawn’, ‘Find That Soul’ and ‘Making Believe’.
