Singer-songwriter Agnes Obel has released the first single, The Curse, from her forthcoming album Aventine which is available to download now. A 10″ vinyl single version will be released on September 2nd.
Agnes had this to say:
“The Curse is one of the songs where I think I got closest to the initial idea I had when I started making the album. It’s very different from what I’ve done before but, at the same time, very much related to it.”

She will also be playing the iTunes Festival on September 17th at The Roundhouse, London. Her new album Aventine will be released on September 30th.
