Alice Cooper announces special edition DVD of ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’

Shock-rock icon Alice Cooper has had a pretty busy year with his latest album ‘Paranormal’, his huge world tour, and now the special edition of his most iconic album ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ on DVD.

This DVD includes the rarely seen 1975 TV special, which aired in the US in conjunction with the album of the same name.

Alice Cooper: The Nightmare is the TV special stars Alice Cooper as ‘Steven’ and Vincent Price as ‘The Spirit’ of the Nightmare, and showcases every song from the ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ album, including Only Women Bleed, Department of Youth, Cold Ethyl and the title track.

‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ features Alice’s classic tracks.  The nightmare vividly comes to life on the rock stage, including a plethora of skeletons, giant spiders, a cyclops, the “magic” movie screen – featuring the voice of silver–screen horror legend Vincent Price, all designed to thrill you and keep you uneasy in your sleep.

The DVD is released on September 8th via Eagle Rock Entertainment
