Ally Venable Announces UK Tour with Garret T. Willie

Following a triumphant tour this past October, Texas-based blues rock guitarist Ally Venable is already planning her return with ten dates booked for this September, with celebrated Canadian blues rock artist Garret T. Willie on board as her special guest.

Venable will again be performing songs from last year’s critically acclaimed album, Money & Power, alongside live favourites from her five previous albums.

Discussing that album Venable said: “Money & Power is such a strong statement, especially for women,” adding: “For me, it’s a sonic embodiment of a woman’s unstoppable ambition, and showcases my musicality on all fronts.

“All the songs on this album showcase the theme of what it truly means to be a force to be reckoned with. I want this record to wake people up,” she continued.

Venable’s 2023 album, Real Gone, hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts and was still in contention a year later, while Total Guitar magazine has acknowledged her in its poll of Top 100 Blues Guitarists.

For those yet to cotton onto her appeal, Money & Power is available on vinyl, CD and digitally from Ruf Records.
