BABYMETAL have released ‘from me to u (Jordan Fish Remix)’, the second single to be lifted from their upcoming Metal Forth (Deluxe Edition), out 26 June via Capitol Records.
The deluxe edition expands on the original album, which debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200, the first time in history an all-Japanese fronted group has achieved a US Top 10 album, with three live performances and two remixes of ‘from me to u (feat. Poppy)’, including the Major Lazer remix released last month and this new version from Jordan Fish. The expanded release will be available digitally and on vinyl, including a limited zoetrope pressing. A lyric video for the new remix is out now.
The release comes ahead of BABYMETAL’s appearance at Download Festival on 13 June, part of a wider European summer festival run, before the band launches their biggest ever North American tour in August, opening for My Chemical Romance in San Diego on 30 August before headlining venues across the continent through to October.
Metal Forth amassed over 200 million global streams and sold 36,000 equivalent album units in its first week, also hitting number one on the Oricon Rock Chart in Japan and breaking the UK Top 20.
