Black Label Society are finally back with their first studio album since 2021’s Doom Crew Inc., and honestly? It’s been too long. Engines of Demolition drops March 27th, 2026.
The album was born during Zakk’s relentless run with the Pantera Celebration World Tour, a journey honouring his fallen brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott. Writing between 2022 and 2025 while processing “the highest highs and lowest lows,” this record sounds deeply personal. The standout? ‘Ozzy’s Song’, described as Zakk’s most heartfelt ballad to date, written for the man who started it all for him.
We’ve already had four singles to chew on: ‘The Gallows’ (2024), ‘Lord Humungus’ (2025), ‘Broken and Blind’ (2025), and the brand new ‘Name In Blood’ (2026). That latest single? Some good old fashioned 80s rock. You can hear the Ozzy influence throughout, and Zakk is absolutely carrying the torch for his mentor here.
The full tracklist runs thirteen songs deep, including ‘Gatherer of Souls’, ‘Better Days & Wiser Times’, ‘Pedal To The Floor’, and ‘The Stranger’.
Even better news for UK fans: Black Label Society are hitting these shores in May 2026 with Venom Inc. in support. Glasgow O2 Academy (May 28th), London O2 Forum (May 29th), and Bournemouth O2 Academy (May 30th) are your dates to mark. They’ll also be at Bloodstock Festival on August 9th.
