Pioneers of heavy metal Black Sabbath have announced they will debut a new song from their upcoming album, 13, on the classic crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
The boys will be performing their new song on the season finale of the latest series of CSI set to air May 15th on CBS.
Ozzy, Tony and Geezer have all been in the studio the last few months with Rage Against The Machine drummer, Brad Wilk, recording the latest Black Sabbath album in 18 years since 1995’s Forbidden.
Geezer posted the following comments on his Facebook page:
“I’ve seen almost every episode of CSI, so it’s cool to say I’m actually in the season finale! Black Sabbath will be playing a track from the new album; watch out for it!”
13 will be released on June 10th via Vertigo records. You can pre-order the album in all it’s available formats here.
